FOUNDED IN 2025
Like many longstanding traditions, the officers of the Mystic Kings Krewe remain anonymous. What can be shared is that the social club was founded by a renowned designer who has created spectacular floats for parades in New Orleans, Alabama, Disney, and the Rose Parade. The Krewe’s founding members include experienced parade veterans with years of history riding in some of the city’s most celebrated processions.

Let it be known that on January 5, 2026, the grand and illustrious Mystic Kings Krewe will lead a new tradition through the streets of New Orleans.
Like the wise men who followed the star to Bethlehem, the Mystic Kings Krewe will arrive on camels bearing gifts, this time for the people of New Orleans and their cherished guests.
It is therefore ordered and ordained that on this night each year, clouds will cease to gather, rain will cease to fall, wine will flow like a river, and music will fill the air perfumed, not with frankincense and myrrh, but with the heavenly scents of gumbo, jambalaya, and seafood boils aplenty.
New Orleans inn and tavern keepers will gleefully throw open their doors, welcoming townspeople from near and far, who will gather in wonder before the Kings.
Let the celebration commence, and may its spirit endure for all time. Thus it is proclaimed. So shall it be.
